Terminal-1 Information

Terminal-1 Belgaum Airport

On 14 September 2017, a new terminal building was inaugurated as part of the airport expansion project. This terminal building is spread over an area of 3,600 square meters and it is well-equipped with a capacity of accommodating more than 300 passengers. There are two baggage conveyor belts in this terminal along with six check-in counters.

Apart from this, there is an apron for parking three Boeing 737 aircraft and Airbus A320. There are two parking stands in the old apron that are designed for the ATR 72 and similar kinds of aircraft. Additionally, there are two additional aprons one of which is situated on the north side of the runway that is indulged in serving as an isolation bay, meanwhile, another one is situated on the south side.

Both these aprons are connected by single taxiways to runway 08/26 that in turn measures 2,300 by 45 meters (7,546 * 148 ft). The completion of a 470-meter (1,540 ft) extension of the runway has been done and presently the size of the runway is 2300 * 45 meters.

LOUNGES

Bird Lounge

Terminal 1, Departure Hall No. 2 is open 24 hours. The services available in this terminal are WiFi, snacks, flight monitors, TV, internet terminals, newspapers & magazines, shoe shine, etc. You must keep in mind that it is a non-smoking facility. The entry fee for this lounge is INR 599 per person.

Earth Lounge

It is a domestic terminal that is open from 5 AM to 11 PM. The services offered in this terminal are WiFi, premium food, TV, newspapers & magazines, and others.
